X Factor 2015: Nick Grimshaw Admits He’d Love To Have Miley Cyrus At Judges’ Houses
With this year’s X Factor launching this weekend (TOO.
DARN. EXCITED), new judge Nick Grimshaw has been discussing who he’d
‘love’ to get as his little helper during judges’ houses.
And, if we’re honest, his suggestion is something we’d VERY much like to see happen.
This
year’s judges’ houses format is rumoured to be a little different, with
reports claiming it’ll be streamed LIVE from each location across just
one weekend.
Sadly, this means that 31-year-old Grimmy’s hopes of
getting Miley Cyrus to be his aide are probably out the window (time
zones suck), although it won’t stop us wishing on a star for it to
happen.
Miley entering on a wrecking ball could be the next Sinitta making her entrance behind a giant palm tree leaf, for sure.
Having
a chinwag with The Sunday Times’ Culture magazine, Grimmy admitted:
“[Miley] is an amazing person. She understands how to work the media
completely.
“Yeah, she does silly things and gets her boobs out but
she’s not overly sexualised, she doesn’t slag people off, and she’s had
both boyfriends and girlfriends - I like that.
“I went to her dressing room after a show, and she was
twerking with her friends and showing everyone her a**e and sticking it
up on Instagram, because that’s what 21-year-olds do.
“They don’t care. I want her to be in my judge’s houses on The X Factor.”
Ditto, babes.
Nick,
who’s joined the judging panel with fellow newbie Rita Ora, as well as
Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini who have seen it all before,
continued on to reveal that he was nervous about the experience at
first.
He admitted: “It was
nerve-wracking at the start. But you don’t have time to think on The X
Factor.

“I used to think Sharon [Osbourne] and Louis [Walsh] were
nutters, or that Nicole Scherzinger was drunk - but you’re working 20
hours a day and you go insane.
“It’s full on anarchy, where producers are begging, ‘Please focus’, and Simon’s saying, ‘Definitely don’t focus’.”
Something tells us this series is going to be REALLY special.
